Two years ago, Camerata performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City; this year, they are moving up to an even more prestigious venue-at least in academic music circles. Camerata has been invited to perform at the National Collegiate Choral Organization from November 5th to 7th of this year at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
The summer is here. It is time to go to the beach, go swimming, and do the activities one normally associates with the summer. However, for others (like myself), this is also the time for movies. So what movies can we expect this summer to provide us with cheap and often mindless thrills?
When a movie starts with suicide, the audience is drawn in. "Sunshine Cleaning" literally begins with a bang. It brings the audience into this situation and branches off into the lives of sisters Rose and Norah Lorkowski. The commercials for "Sunshine Cleaning" set the movie up as a comedy but it is a drama with some comedic elements.
