Recent discussions on campus have indicated that the faculty at Centenary College of Louisiana are in the process of attempting to change from a Division-I athletics to a Division-III athletics institution. Friday, April 24, I presented at the Student Research Forum. I was presenting my research that I had been working on for nearly two years, so my mother drove up from Natchitoches to see me. Since the Trustees were on campus, I told my mother to park on the North side of Woodlawn, since that was the next closest parking lot to the Whited Room.
During my four years at Centenary, I celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans with two Danish exchange students, I hosted a two-hour radio show with a Honduran, I had Belgian waffles in Brussels with a crazy bunch from Hong Kong, and I sang karaoke with a German pastor-in-the-making.
