Letter from the Editor: Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen

I can't believe it's actually here! Sitting in the Conglomerate office at (mumblemumble) o'clock on my very last issue, I can't actually believe that this is it. I'll still be the official Editor-in-Chief until May 9th, but after tonight that will be a purely honorary title: this is my final responsibility as Editor.

Recent discussions on campus have indicated that the faculty at Centenary College of Louisiana are in the process of attempting to change from a Division-I athletics to a Division-III athletics institution. This is due to their belief that the athletics program is a financial drain and participation in such activities reduces a student's success in the classroom.

During my four years at Centenary, I celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans with two Danish exchange students, I hosted a two-hour radio show with a Honduran, I had Belgian waffles in Brussels with a crazy bunch from Hong Kong, and I sang karaoke with a German pastor-in-the-making.
